Far more believable than anything you could ever do.
All you have to do is ask your students.
3 simple steps to follow:
1) Text your students coming in tomorrow. Here is the exact wording I used - "Hi Kids. Can you do me a favour? I would like to get a short video where I have kids saying to the camera what they like about training at Margaret River Martial Arts. If you are happy to be filmed, can you think of one sentence why you like training. (Why it is fun and what you have learned).
I will video you just before the class.
I think it will be fun to see what we come up with.
I sent this in the morning before school (about 8am).
2) Before class, set up the camera and get them to line up. One at a time, they look at the camera and say their lines. Then make a video with your school name on it. (Above made with iMovie).
3) Add to website, Facebook, Facebook groups, Youtube (check with parents first), text link to parents, etc etc.
That's it. The rest happens on autopilot.
Oh, one more thing. Have fun with it. You can see that the scene stealer above was valuable because I kept filming. You shouldn't have to create the words. That would be too contrived and people see straight through sterile marketing jargon.
From the heart.
This will get everyone talking.
