In the world of martial arts, it is the opposite.
We stand out the front of our martial arts students as the instructor and we need to walk our talk. To embody the dream of what martial arts can do. Totally.
What we do is who we are. We can't be a master of control on the dojo floor and show a lack of control outside. We need to put all of our personality into our classes and our business.
All of our effort.
Our sense of humour.
The love we have for what we do.
People can see through an act. If we have to act the role of an instructor, then we are not what our students truly aspire to be. If you are only bringing a fraction of your personality to Dojo floor, you are cheating your students of the full experience of your training. The only way to train and the only way to live is with 100% commitment and emotion.
Put more on the table.
Your students deserve it.
So do you.
